New to Church?... Welcome!

 

When you come to Word of Life Church you will find bible based preaching, contemporary music and a focus on prayer.

When you walk in the door you will be greeted and the first thing that you will see is our coffee bar. Many people come early for coffee before the service begins on Sunday Morning. There is a countdown clock that plays down to the beginning of the music, so you will be able to time when you want to go and take your seat.

At 10:30 the music starts and everyone joins in singing worship songs to God. The music that you will experience is contemporary and up tempo.

Next on the Sunday program is prayer. We believe in the power of prayer, it is the way that God has provided for man to relate to God, and we know that when we pray God listens and answers our prayers. (Please email your prayer requests to pray@eckvillewordoflife.ca )

The kids are then dismissed for their "Adventure in the Kingdom". We are very happy to use curriculum that is created by Dian Layton, author of the children's series "Seeker".

As the kids are dismissed for their adventure, we give an encouraging thought on finances and receive the tithes and offerings. If you are visiting with us you do not have to give anything, although you can if you like.

Finally our Pastor presents a message that brings life, encouragement and answers for life. Be sure to bring your Bible and a pen and paper so that you can take notes if something jumps out at you.

• clothes that you would wear to the first day of school
